The Time For Action

_By Joshua Nicholas_ On the land of dreams, only imaginations grow as pastures. When there are no actions a vision is as good as a mirage. Pictures of riches are fast to paint; a glaze with potentials or else they fade. A purposeful existence is not only a question of dreams but purely a function of actions. A drunkard too have dreams! For every 10 dreams we need just one single action! The days of dreaming are over. It is time to work out those dreams to become reality. The Nigeria of my dreams? Can we just make it the Nigeria of my work? The earlier we start looking for workable ways to bring all those dreams to reality the better it will be. Time is a factor that no one ever has in excess; our potentials has been dormant for a long time now, and it needs to be harnessed! We are young and we must make history. Within a couple of days now, we will be 58 years old. We have been through a lot, we have passed our dark moments and our glory lies ahead of us. It is more sooner

My Success Story: The Eagles Life

By Joshua Nicholas Eagles are magnificent birds. They are beautiful. They are powerful. They may fly high and see untold sights of God's creation. Today, we will be using the eagle's life to learn alot. * *The Eagle's eye:* The eagle has the ability to see 5 kilometres away. When an eagle sites his prey, he narrows his focus on it and set out to get it. No matter the obstacles, the eagle will not move his focus from the prey until he grabs it. Be focused. If you can see what is impossible and believe it can be done; you can do the impossible. * *The Eagle's love:* The female eagle don't just mate anyhow. They conduct series of test to their intending male partner to seek his committment. Whether in relationship, life in general or in business, one should test commitment of people intended for partnership.  * *The Eagle's storm:* When other birds shade themselves during the storm, the eagle thinks it is the best time for flying. Mallorca Gain LaLiga Promotion

Mallorca are back in LaLiga after a sensational comeback against Deportivo La Coruna, overturning a two-goal deficit from the first leg of the promotion playoff with a 3-0 win at Son Moix on Sunday. The 2-0 defeat at Riazor on Thursday appeared as though Mallorca had spurned their chance of a return to the top division three years after being in Spain's third tier, but Vicente Moreno's players clearly had other ideas. A bright start was rewarded with a strike on 20 minutes from Budimir which flew past Dani Gimenez and had the fans believing that the miracle was possible. Those hopes turned into expectation on 62 minutes when Salva Sevilla made it 2-0, as Deportivo looked shell-shocked from the hosts' onslaught. Some fine approach play from Baba supplied substitute Abdon Prats with the golden chance, and when the ball crashed against the net, the Son Moix erupted.

Before This Hip-hop Music Kill Us

By Emmanuel Daraloye  "Tope is Teenager who lives in Southern Part of Nigeria, yesterday, he asked his parents who MC Oluomo was, his mum replied him by telling him,  he (Oluomo) was an exco of National Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Oshodi Axis in Lagos state".  What he failed to tell them was about his daily brooding on how to get money and pomp champagnes in a club, sandwiched between two women with a diamond chain dangling from his neck in a  2019 Bentley Cadillac, what a tall fantasy?.  The Nigeria Hip Hop scene which became prominent over two decades ago is in ruin, no thanks to the singers,  song writers and the music entrepreneurs. The Nigeria Hiphop music is almost becoming a weapon of oppression for the youth,  gone are the days it was used to correct the ills of the Society, what they do now is  to tweak the thinking of the teeming youth into crime, exploiting the vulnerables, open endorsement of hard drugs, ridiculing women as sex object

Herald! The Emerging Nigeria (YAPJEN TO NIGERIA)

Portugal Defeats Netherlands To Win UEFA Nations League

Portugal secured Nations League glory on Sunday as Goncalo Guedes' second-half strike earned a 1-0 victory over Netherlands at the Estadio do Dragao. The host nation had been touted as favourites ahead of the inaugural Finals and they lived up to that billing in Porto, adding more major silverware to their European Championship triumph three years ago. Cristiano Ronaldo had netted a hat-trick in the 3-1 semi-final win over Switzerland but he was kept relatively quiet on this occasion by Virgil van Dijk and Matthijs de Ligt. Instead it was left to Guedes to settle matters, exchanging passes with Bernardo Silva and smashing home from the edge of the box, although Jasper Cillessen may feel he could have done better.
