Why Saturdays Are Adorable by Adigun Olayemi

Saturdays is termed a free day and obviously a day you take pleasure in yourself. It can either be spent with your family, friends or your co-workers off office.

While some decides to take a stroll to the beach, some prefer staying at home watching TV all day long but wouldn't it be boring , I think that should be a question for the other day, some take their time watching movies at the cinema which is often common amongst Nigerian families, while some decide to spend it in an 'owanbe party' yea, it may be wedding, burial, house warming and others which makes it even more hectic but its always fun anyways.

But whichever way, try to make sure you always make your Saturday worthwhile and a memorable one not forgetting to look forward to another Saturday even at office during the week days.

Makes you add weight Drinking water with your meals is the fact that you do tend to put on weight. There is a surge in insulin levels and the food is broken down to make fat which is stored. Apart from that, it is believed that a weak digestive system is one of the leading reasons for obesity. Reduces amount of saliva Your saliva is the first step to digestion. Not only does it contain enzymes that help break down food, but it also helps stimulate the stomach to release digestive enzymes and ready itself for the process of digestion. …

Prof 'Yemi Osinbajo Not Welcome in OAU by Gbenga VON PRO TEM Chairman

The attention of the student populace has been drawn to the invitation of Prof. Yemi Osibajo, the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to a public program by the Department of Fine and Applied Arts, Obafemi Awolowo University at Oduduwa Hall of the university on Saturday, 17th November by 12PM.

Firstly, it is condemnable that the department of Fine and Applied Arts of the university itself is a victim of the negligence of government on education by the virtue of the fact that the department, just like the faculty of Law, FNC, Nursing, Dentistry etc., lost accreditation to National University Commission (NUC) in the last conducted accreditation exercise in the university. To invite such a prime figure behind the underfunding of education to be honored among students is a mockery on students and education itself.

Apart from the fact that Nigeria is at a period of economic and political bondage as a result of the anti-masses policies of the federal government on the people a…
