President Buhari Returns To Nigeria

President Muhammadu Buhari has returned to Nigeria from London where he attended the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM). The President took off from London on Saturday afternoon and arrived at Abuja after 7 pm.
President Buhari had travelled to London on April 9, shortly after declaring his intention to seek re-election at the All Progressives Congress’ National Executive Council Meeting in Abuja.

El Rufai Declared Missing In Kaduna

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kaduna state has declared the state governor, Nasir El-Rufai, missing.
The party said El-Riufai was declared missing due to his alleged lack of adherence to law and order and dereliction  of duty.
The party said the governor purportedly breached the law by being absent from his duty post as the state’s elected  governor.
The governor has not been seen in public for over 10 days and there is no formal explanation from his aides about  his whereabouts.
The PDP Chairman Kaduna State Chapter, Felix Hyat, in a statement signed by the Publicity Secretary, Abraham  Catoh, raised the concern over the governor’s absence.
“For more than 11 days running, governor El-Rufai of Kaduna State has disappeared from public glare, without  transmitting power to his deputy,” the statement said. It also condemned the APC’s style of leadership in the state “which is without recourse to Constitutional  provisions”.

Former President Ibrahim Babangida Joins SDP

The former military ruler according to the National Publicity Secretary of the party Alpha Mohammed was also quoted to have expressed willingness to lead the youth wing of the party ”if he had been younger.” According to Alpha Mohammed, the ex-general also recommended the party to the youths and women of Nigeria, while being presented with his membership card. “Yes IBB has joined SDP and he even said that if he had been young he would have led the youth wing. Buhari Joined Nigerian Army Without O'level Certificate - Fayose

Governor of Ekiti state, Ayodele Fayose, has continued his attack on  President Muhammadu Buhari
over his comments on the youths in Nigeria.
Buhari, speaking at the Commonwealth Business Forum in Westminster on Wednesday , said youths prefer to do  nothing because they feel Nigeria is an oil-rich nation.
According to the President, a lot of Nigerian youths have not been to school,yet they want everything free.

The Ogun State governor, Sen. Ibikunle Amosun has declared that his successor would be a woman and ‘a whiz  kid’. Apple To Launch An Electric Car From 2019

Apple would count launch an electric car from 2019 according to the Wall Street Journal. The brand with the Apple would also be interested to partner with a car manufacturer in order to bring his project. The instigators of the “Titan” just obtained permission to triple the staff dedicated to its design.

Femi Fani-Kayode, former Aviation Minister, on Tuesday declared that “only God” will stop President Muhammadu Buhari from ruling Nigeria for a second term. The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, chieftain said Buhari will fail during the 2019 presidential election and God alone will take the glory.
