By Adejumo Kabir I have been raped, So disgusting as I weep, My marriage with you is a shame, In a society dominated by scholars, Professors, Readers, Doctors, They celebrate me not, They give no regard to my stay, They made me so deteriorating, What a disgusting nation, The soul of the nation aborted, Slowly and then faster and faster, A geometric setback they achieved, Is this living or dying adrift, I told them I would die, But they told me goodbye, They keep their eyes blind to terminated hopes, I'm in a graveyard & overcast sky, I would learn to forgive death, But I dare not forget those that murdered me

Stop Playing Politics With Buhari's Health, Gbenga Daniel Tells Fayose

A former Governor of Ogun State, Gbenga Daniel, on Sunday cautioned the Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, to desist from playing politics with the health of President Muhammadu Buhari. Mr. Daniel cautioned the controversial governor while featuring as a guest of Freelance and Independent Broadcasters Association of Nigeria, FIBAN, at an interactive session held in Abeokuta. He said there was nothing wrong for a formidable opposition to checkmate excesses of government which Mr. Fayose was known to be doing; but faulted his manner of playing politics with the health of the ailing president. “It is good to have opposition for good democracy to thrive,” he said. “Democracy without a viable opposition is dictatorship.” “It (viable opposition) will checkmate excesses of government in power, which Fayose is doing; but it is not good playing politics ‎with president’s health,” Mr. Daniel said. The former governor, a member of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, exp

Obasanjo Is A Weak Man -Fayose

Ekiti State governor, Ayodele Fayose has described former President Olusegun Obasanjo as a sadist, who “would rather put a weakling in position.” In a recent interview with Punch, Fayose said Obasanjo trampled on the nation’s constitution while he was President. He said, “I’m not attacking him. I’m only saying things I know about him because I’m a living witness of Obasanjo’s life. I worked with him and know that Obasanjo is a sadist, an opportunist – a man who would rather put a weakling in position (of power). How would he ask Yar’Adua that he knew was sick to be president? I wonder why some media (organisations) celebrate Obasanjo. Obasanjo has no character. Obasanjo was the first president that trampled on our constitution in all ways using brute force. That is why Obasanjo does not have a (foot-) hold, in terms of human beings, in party politics in the South-West. Obasanjo is only left with the clout of being a former president. When you say human support, Obasanjo does not

Benefit Of Mustard Seeds

What ‘pleasure’ can be said of Mustard seeds – a small round seeds of various mustard plants – in comparison to other plants’ seed? Apparently, quite a number of individuals have attributed no health benefits to this seeds, since it is tasteless and encompass a discouraging size. The seeds are high in essential oils as well as plant sterols. Some of the important sterols include, brassicasterol, campesterol, sitosterol, avenasterol, and stigmasterol. Some of the glucosinolate and fatty acids in the seeds are sinigrin, myrosin, erucic, eicosanoic, oleic, and palmitic acids. Being one of the ‘chief’ oil seeds, mustard seeds are very high in calories; 100g of seeds provide 508 calories – a unit of heat used to indicate the amount of energy that foods will produce in the human body. Nonetheless, the seeds are made of quality proteins, essential oils, vitamins, minerals, and dietary fibre. DAILY POST recalls that the group had named him as the Minister of Aviation, following the self-declaration of the “Republic of Biafra” on August 1, 2017. Maku, speaking to newsmen in Abuja, stated that he remained a patriot, who is committed to the unity of Nigeria. “Somebody called that I have been appointed a minister of Biafra. You need to bring the youths together and reassure them that they have a future. “A federation gives equal opportunities to all its children. We have structural and leadership deficiencies.
